Yes, Skillset SA is registered with SETA (REG NO: 2020/ 599073/ 07).

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO STUDY WITH SKILLSET SA?

To apply you must have a certified copy of your South African ID, be 18 years and older, and have a certified copy of your highest qualification. 

CAN I REGISTER WITHOUT A MATRIC?

You can register without a Matric – we will require a certified copy of your highest qualification. We require a minimum of Grade 9 to enrol into a NQF level 2 course.

WHERE IS THE TRAINING CONDUCTED?

The training will be held at Unit S07 4th Floor Park Square, Corner Centenary Boulevard and Park Ave, Umhlanga Ridge. 

DO YOU OFFER ONLINE CLASSES?

We do not offer online classes. All our students need to physically attend classes at the respective Umhlanga Ridge campus. 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE A COURSE WITH SKILLSET SA?

As the courses offered by Skillset SA are SETA – accredited, they take 12 months to complete. During these 12 months, the student will receive both theoretical training and simulated practical experience within a call centre. 

DO STUDENTS RECEIVE PRACTICAL TRAINING?

As our courses are SETA-accredited the student will receive both theoretical training and practical experience within the duration of the course. Therefore, upon completing the course, the student will have gained sufficient practical experience within an actual call centre.  

DO STUDENTS GRADUATE AFTER COMPLETING THE COURSE?

Yes, if the student has completed and submitted all POE’s and Assignments after the 12-months period of studying with us, they will be eligible to graduate.

CAN I WORK (BE EMPLOYED) AND STUDY WITH SKILLSET SA AT THE SAME TIME?

No, you need to remain unemployed for the duration of the training. As the courses are full time and require practical work experience within an actual call centre.

CAN I STUDY MORE THAN 1 COURSE AT THE SAME TIME?

A student will study one course at a time and once completed, may enrol for a second course.
